Assistive Listening Systems

Assistive listening systems help people hear better in challenging situations where there is noise, reverberation or distance. Types of assistive listening systems include microphones with transmitters and receivers, hearing aids, cochlear implants, earbuds and headphones. By capturing and delivering sound, individuals with hearing loss are able to listen with more clarity.

Living Works - A course about suicide for faith leaders

“The online LivingWorks Faith course is a tremendous resource for faith leaders. It is very interactive, helping participants think through and reflect on the role of suicide in faith communities. I highly recommend any faith leader who works in some way or another with parishioners to consider taking the course.”

Diocesan Initiative: The Gift of Time--CareBreaks in Providence RI

"The CareBreaks program is a public/private partnership. Catholic Charities provides program support, with additional assistance provided in the form of grants from the state of Rhode Island, as well as the federal government through its Division of Elderly Affairs. Federal grants require matching funds so the diocesan support makes this program possible."
