FDA Citizen Petition on Estrogen Use and Safety Review
NCPD joins the Catholic Medical Association, the National Catholic Bioethics Center, and the National Association of Catholic Nurses, USA in calling on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to conduct a safety review of the off-label use of estrogen in males and to consider appropriate regulatory action, including a boxed warning. This petition reflects NCPD’s commitment to ethical public policy, human dignity, and the protection of vulnerable persons.
