Deacon David Arias is a devoted spiritual leader and advocate for the special needs community, currently serving at Sacred Heart Rancho Cucamonga after being ordained three years ago. David was also appointed by Bishop Rojas to serve as the chaplain of the special needs community in the diocese. His academic background in psychology enables him to connect with individuals on a deeper level, fostering an environment of understanding and compassion within the community he serves. His work in this area is not merely professional; it is deeply personal. As a devoted father of three wonderful children with special needs, David draws from his own parenting experiences to enrich his ministry, fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals feel valued and loved.
For 25 years, David has enjoyed a fulfilling marriage with his wife, Maria. Together, they have navigated the joys and challenges of raising a family, finding strength and resilience through their shared faith and commitment to each other. Their family life is a testament to the power of love, understanding, and support.
Stan Karnash is a devoted husband to Nicole, they have been married for 32+ years and have three girls Noelle (29), Bailey (27), and Cami (24).
Stan holds a bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College, Meadville, PA. He has been employed by Johnson & Johnson for 37 years and handles the United States Military account in a sales capacity.
Stan & Nicole’s eldest daughter, Noelle, was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome at age 2. This includes medical complexities, an intellectual disability, and she is unable to walk, speak, or use her hands. She needs care 24/7.
Stan says, "Our lives have been challenging to say the least, balancing normalcy for our two healthy daughters while ensuring that Noelle is surrounded by love, and the care she needs so that she can live her best life possible. The goal has always been to blend these two worlds together and to keep our family as one unit, not separating the two."
