February Affiliate Connect: Accompanying Veterans

Wed, 02/18/2026 - 2:00pm EST to 3:00pm

The Middle Space: Accompanying Veterans Through Lent and Holy Week

Some veterans may find the Lenten journey challenging, especially as they perceive reconciliation and forgiveness as unattainable due to feeling unworthy to approach God or the Church. Learn about the impact of the invisible injuries of war and service resulting from post-traumatic stress and moral injury. Discover ways that parishioners can accompany veterans through prayer and presence during these forty days toward Easter Hope.

Open to diocesan AND parish leaders in Affiliate Dioceses! Registration links will be sent to diocesan disability ministry leaders one week prior to the event and we ask them to share the invitation with parish leaders.
