Affiliate Connect - May

Wed, 05/18/2022 - 1:00pm EDT to 2:00pm

We meet with NCPD Affiliates every month to address the specific needs of their dioceses. This month's Affiliate Connect will discuss:

"Center-Based Respite Care:  The Essentials of Getting Started"

Parents of children with disabilities, especially if those children have more significant disabilities, need a break from caregiving.  Your special needs ministry is uniquely positioned to provide opportunities for grace-filled encounters and accompaniment with families, their children, and the people of your diocese who will serve as volunteers. This presentation will describe the "nuts and bolts" of establishing and maintaining a center-based respite care program.

Affiliates will receive a zoom link one week prior to the meeting.
