Being Honest with Ourselves as Caregivers

Caring for others, whether we are formal or informal caregivers, can be challenging and difficult.  Although there are many moments of joy, and many gifts to be received, there are also many trials and tribulations to be endured.  Currently, we have seen these caregiving challenges augmented greatly while living through a worldwide pandemic.

Diocesan Initiative: The Gift of Time--CareBreaks in Providence RI

  "The CareBreaks program is a public/private partnership. Catholic Charities provides program support, with additional assistance provided in the form of grants from the state of Rhode Island, as well as the federal government through its Division of Elderly Affairs. Federal grants require matching funds so the diocesan support makes this program possible."

Saint John Chrysostom Parish - 2015 Loyola Press Opening Doors Award Winner

The National Catholic Partnership on Disability (NCPD), in partnership with Loyola Press, is pleased to announce St. John Chrysostom Parish in Wallingford, Pennsylvania, Archdiocese of Philadelphia, as the winner of this year’s Loyola Press Opening Doors Parish Award. The parish will receive from Loyola Press $1000 and a plaque.
