NCPD joined USCCB and other Catholic organizations in expressing grave concern about the June 18, 2026 opinion that reversed the interpretation of Olmstead v. L.C., that Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires states to provide services in the most integrated setting appropriate to a person's needs. This letter affirming the rights of persons with disabilities to flourish in their families and communities was delivered to members of the House and Senate.
