Affiliate Connect: Beyond Burnout

Wed, 02/17/2027 - 2:00pm EST to 3:00pm

Beyond Burnout: Growing in Vocation While Avoiding Burnout

Currently in the United States, burnout affects workers in nearly every industry, including those working for the Catholic Church. Alarming numbers of Catholic school educators, lay ministers, social workers, and even pastors are leaving their roles due to burnout. Additionally, burnout affects, in large numbers, both personal and professional caregivers. Burnout is real, and the consequences are significant. This presentation explores how we can grow in vocation with the peace of Christ. It also highlights ways that the saints and the Rule of St. Benedict can guide us in living a life of abundance rather than burnout. If you seek balance, support, practical guidance, and hope, this workshop is for you.

Open to diocesan AND parish leaders in Affiliate Dioceses!

Registration links will be sent to diocesan disability ministry leaders in Affiliate Dioceses one week prior to the event and we ask them to share the invitation with parish leaders.
