NCPD Virtual Regional Meeting - Fall

All diocesan disability ministry leadership of the 14 Episcopal Regions of United States are invited to attend the upcoming NCPD Virtual Regional Meeting.

The Art of Accompaniment Mentoring Program

Cynthia Psencik will speak about the GIVEN Institute’s signature mentoring program, known as “The Art of Accompaniment Mentoring Program,” aims at providing young, emerging Catholic female leaders with guidance, support, and companionship as they navigate the questions, opportunities, and challenges posed to the contemporary Catholic woman.

NCPD wants to start the conversation on the benefits of diocesan disability ministry mentorship. Please join us!

Diocesan Directors will receive an email on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 a week prior to the meeting to register.

Cynthia Psencik

Mentoring Program Director,  GIVEN Institute

 

Cynthia Psencik was born and raised in New York City. Her parents are from the Dominican Republic. In 2004, Cynthia began working for the Archdiocese of New York as the Assistant in the Hispanic Ministry Office. Through her ministry with youth in retreat centers and especially through her involvement in the First Encuentro on Hispanic Youth and Young Adult Ministry, she fell in love with youth ministry and pursued a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry with a concentration in Hispanic Ministry from Fordham University. She then became the Associate Director for Youth Ministry, and served as the Director for the Office of Youth Ministry for 5 years before joining the GIVEN Institute as their Mentoring Program Director. She previously served as the Vice President of La RED – National Catholic Network de Pastoral Juvenil Hispana. She is married to her husband Evan and lives in Connecticut.
