Mental Health: Moving Past the Taboo to a Culture of Acceptance.
Mental health and mental illness, although commonly experienced, remain taboo topics. This discussion will present a general overview of mental health and mental ill-health. Additionally, participants will have a conversation about mental health stigma, what it causes, and how we can collectively move past it toward a culture that accepts and even celebrates efforts to sustain mental wellness and the contributions of those with mental health conditions.
Affiliates will receive a zoom link one week prior to the meeting.
