  Janice Benton, SFO
Executive Director
Janice Benton assumed the position of NCPD Executive Director in May 2004 after twenty-five years of experience in the field of ministry and advocacy with persons with disabilities. She assisted in setting up NCPD in 1982, after serving two years on the precursor U.S. Bishops Advisory Committee on People with Disabilities, and continued on as staff, working in a variety of capacities.

  Massimo Scano
Assistant to the Director
Massimo Scano's main expertise is in database management. He also works part time as administrative assistant at the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions National Office. He has a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Arlington, VA.

  Miriam Brinley
Intern
Miriam recently graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Psychology. She enjoys working at NCPD, and was previously employed there during the summer of 2002.

  Tobias Nathe
Lackner Project Assistant
Tobias Nathe inherited the duties of the Lackner Project in November 2006 to edit and distribute materials for visually impaired priests. He also works at the Dominican College Library as a part-time assistant and recently graduated from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage & Family at The Catholic University of America with a Licentiate in Sacred Theology.
 

  Megan Perez
Intern
Megan recently graduated from Georgetown Visitation, and will be attending Boston College in the fall of 2007. She wants to lead a career in advocacy for social justice issues.
