GIFTS OF APPRECIATED PROPERTY TO NCPD:

A gift of appreciated capital gain property may offer you greater tax advantages than gifts of cash.  By giving securities or other appreciated property directly to NCPD, you can deduct the current fair market value as a charitable gift and completely avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation.

CHARITABLE BEQUESTS TO NCPD:

You can include a bequest to NCPD in your will.  Bequests can be made for a specific amount, a percentage of the total estate, or a residual after gifts to other beneficiaries. Charitable bequests qualify for unlimited estate tax deductions.

LIFE INSURANCE REMEMBRANCE TO NCPD:

You may provide for NCPD through a life insurance policy by irrevocably transferring ownership of an existing paid-in-full policy to NCPD or by starting a new life insurance policy in which NCPD is the owner and you are the insured.

As you can see, there are many ways to make a significant gift to NCPD and obtain current tax benefits.    We are happy to talk with you to assist you in planning the perfect gift that meets your needs.  Please call 202/529-2933 or email us at ncpd@ncpd.org today.
